The Amavinkvonko Team
Amavinkivonko was established, as the Club Destiny Youth Organisation, in 2000 by Tantsi Moloi, who continues to lead the large team of volunteers who run this 100% black-owned non-profit organisation. We have full-time team leaders in Soweto and Tembisa townships, but most of our volunteers are part-time. Everyone gives their time for free.
Tantsi Moloi cares passionately about the vulnerable children and adults in Johannesburg’s Townships, running food programs, clothing appeals, and home restoration projects, as well as social events for orphans, school projects and counselling services. Tantsi is also on the board of
Ubuntu Mission.
